November Favourites and Empty Bottles Review

As I didn't end up leaving the house today due to bad weather and having the day off work I decided not to do an Outfit Of The Day and save that for another day, instead I have decided to show you my November Favourite products and give them a review along with my empty bottles as they are products I WILL be purchasing again! If anyone has any thoughts on any of these products of questions please leave a comment! So here goes starting form the left moving towards the right (in the picture)

You will be able to find most of these products in your local Boots or Superdrug

1. Batiste Dry Shampoo- with a hint of colour, dark and deep brown.

Colour on skin
I decided to first buy this product when I went to Bestival a couple of years ago and since then I have found it to be quite useful in day to day life. My hair type is long with greasy roots and dry ends.

So I really love this product, it saves me from having to wash my hair every other day, I like to leave it 2 days between washing if I can help it rather than ever other day as my ends can get really dry and when you have long hair the dryer it is the harder it is to look after! This product saves my ends from being dried out! It keeps my hair looking fresh and it is scented so it smells amazing! because I have dark brown hair it looks greasy so fast and this stops that! it also adds volume and texture and can make your hair easier to style while also adding lift!
The only down side to this product is that it runs out quite fast even though I got a bigger can. If you spray it on you face (by your hair line) by mistake then it leaves a brown mark on your skin, it wipes off easily but is still a nuisance. I think this will only apply to the coloured sprays. When I itch my scalp then the product gathers up under my nails making them look dirty. But these are only 2 small problems and I think I would continue to buy the brown one as I would rather have dirty nails and wipe colour off my head than have powdery white hair!
I got this can from Boots on offer but it usually costs around £2.99

2. No7 Beautiful Skin Eye Make-Up Remover

I have been using this particular eye make-up remover now for at least 3 years. I have tried and tested may different eye make-up removers and for me this is the best product I have found... by far! It is gentle and suitable for all skin types it is one of the double layer products you shake together before using, I put it on a cotton pad, press on my eye for a couple of seconds to soften the make-up and gently wipe my eye following the faces massage lines to avoid tugging the skin and creating premature wrinkles to wipe away any traces of make up. The bottle always lasts me a couple of months even though it is small as you only need a small amount because it is so good. I always pick it up with one of the No7 vouchers to save £5! It is normally priced at £8.50.

I find this product so good that if I have any stubborn make-up that I can not remove I use this product. It removes all traces of waterproof mascara! I would rate this product 9/10!!! Probably in my top 5 all time beauty products!

3. Boots Mango Body Butter

If you cant tell by now I do really like Boots products! This was a present I got for my birthday and I use it when my skin is feeling dry or times when I may need extra moisture e.g after shaving!

It smells AMAZING! I also have the body wash and scrub (also birthday presents) I like this product because it is organic and fairtrade. Its very think and creamy it is made with Shea butter and mango extract. with this cold weather coming in everyone needs a good staple moisturiser and I think is one makes a nice pick me up or great present! and as I already mentioned smells great!

4. Cutex Nourishing Nail Polish Remover

This Nail varnish remover again is one of the best I have found and is one of my empty bottles. I need to get a new one! It has lasted me a long time and is not one of those removers that gets weaker the closer it gets to the bottom of the bottle! This Remover contains Vitamins and moisturisers and a nail whitening formula. It is for weak nails, which I have from time to time where they flake at the tips, I would recommend this product even if your nails are not weak as it is good at removing all polishes and whitening stained nails from other varnishes. It even removes glitter nail varnish quite easily. I never thought I would say this about a nail varnish remover but it smells really nice as well!

The down sides to this remover are that it contains Acetone, I'm not bothered by this but I know some people are. The other down side is that it stays on your fingers, not to the point that it effects your new nail varnishes you would apply but if you lick your finger or when your eating then it tastes horrible for several hours after even when you use soap! I think the good out weighs the bad and I would rate this remover 9/10 as a product.

5. Garnier Eye Roll-On

I bought this product in Sainsburys it was on an offer at the time and I picked it up as it was something I wanted to try, it contains caffeine and is to be rolled on the skin under the eye, I gently pat the product in with my ring finger once it has settled on the skin for a couple of moments. I like to use this first thing in the morning when I wake up. With the long dark mornings and getting up so early for work I feel my eyes need a little bit more TLC than they have in previous years, I think this is a good product for teens up to just before you start developing deeper wrinkles, If you have deeper wrinkles I don't think that this product will work well for you but if you have small wrinkles or dark bags under your eyes and use this every morning it will help to tighten, brighten and lift the skin, but only a small amount. I am unsure if this is a product that has a feel good factor rather than making a physical difference but either way when I apply it at 6 in the morning it wakes me up (because it's so cold) and I feel better for using it!

Please comment or leave any questions, feedback or suggestions on products for me to review!
