Jewellery Haul, Freedom at Topshop

In my previous entry I mentioned I had been on a mini jewellery haul so here it is!

Everything I got I got in the sale so my 3 pack of rings, which contains precious stones I got them for £2.50 they were originally £10.00 so that was a SUPER bargain! which I was really happy with! The middle ring is my favourite but the cross one is really pretty. The single one has a large stone in the middle, it is a pale green colour and looks a but swirly, I don't think that that comes out very clearly in the picture. The actual ring has a pattern in the gold around the edge of the stone and the ring has flowers and leaves in the metal. Its really pretty but I think it is balanced out well with the size of the stone as I'm not to keen on girly girly pretty things. This was meant to be £7.50 and I got it for £1.50!!!! BARGAIN!!!!!!

I got two Pairs of earrings, the first pair are silver crosses, they are slightly weighty and I like how chunky they are. They were originally £4.00 and they were marked at half price so I got them for £2.00! The second set are some brassy looking monkey studs! I thought hey were really cute. I got them for £2.00 form £5.00. And lastly I bought this cat necklace that has little gems as eyes! This was £2.50 down from £7.50. I think this will make a nice present for Christmas so I am going to keep this to add towards a present.... if I don't end up wearing it first!

I hope you like my mini Jewellery haul!

Outfit Of The Day with Topshop! Work Look, November

So I had work today and took a picture of my outfit when I got home! Iv been up since 6.30 and took the picture at 8pm so please forgive the slightly dragged through a bush backwards look! I went for the oversized jumper and wet look legging today... So here is my outfit in more detail!

Outfit Of The Day
Firstly I have on a black chiffon blouse what has pleats over the bust, this is over a year old, I want one of this years ones with the metal collar tips and I want one of the jewellery collar tips but I haven't found one I really like yet! Over my blouse I have my bald eagle jumper, this is new its £55 and from Topshop (my whole outfit is Topshop) I really really really LOVE this jumper, I could wear at all day every day its so warm and soft and I love the eagles knitted into the jumper with the wings coming down the arms. I am really fond of the collar out of the jumper look as well because if you are top heavy round neck lines can make you look larger but I feel a collar resolves this. Also I would say its on trend and just a generally nice look for all ages. I really don't like the look of I'm wearing a jumper and nothing else.

On my legs I have some matte wet look panel leggings they are very comfortable they are £22, its quite cold at the moment so I have got a pair of the plain black extra long Topshop leggings underneath to keep warm as the faux leather is very thin so is very cold. I liked the matte wet look leggings so much last year I wore them to death and needed a new pair this year although I wish that last year I had realised the trick of wearing a second pair underneath to keep you warmer as iv already said they are sooooo cold! You cant tell that you have to pairs on so win win!

Hair style and blurry earrings
Again I an wearing last year's brogues as they are super comfortable and very practical for my job as well as be fashionable!

Iv accessorised with some silver coloured cross earrings  I bought these in a mini Freedom haul I had yesterday so ill post a blog on all the jewellery I bought at an amazing bargain price the other day! I had 2 rings on but did not wear a necklace as I have to wear a lanyard for work.

I put my hair up into an easy and stylish bun using a hair doughnut I bought from Primark ages ago for £1, this was a barging buy and I recommend that if you have hair long enough to wrap around one of these to get one to use when your in a rush as it nearly always looks great and is so fast to do!
I am also wearing my boots Brown nail varnish from my previous blog. I hope you all had a good day today! Goodnight!

Elegant Nail Design With No7

So this is my current nail design... I hope you like it, comment if you have any questions!

Here is my nail design I half copied off a work colleague and half made up myself, so I will name this design the Lezley on behalf of Lezley herself!!!

My final result
So I started by using a base coat, I use Sally Hanson hard as nails, I always use this one, its a good base coat but peels off fast if you don't apply a colour and just want the natural look so I wouldn't recommend it for that. I do find when you layer it it also does strengthen your nails!
Next I painted 2 coats of No7 pigment rich colour number 23, this is a pigment rich colour but I think you still need 2 coats as otherwise it is slightly streaky!
On top of that I applied my Nail art pen which has a brush and nib along with a pot of black rhinestones attached to it. I got this as a duo set with a gold from Topshop I think it cost £7.50 I git it quite a while ago but they still sell them now, I used the pen to draw a line down my ring finger nail, I haven't been able to do the straightest line but I think with practice or on someone else it would be easier!
I then applied a line of my base coat along the nail bed of my thumb line and using the end of a hair clip dotted in some of the base coat to be able to pick up the rhinestones to apply them to my nail, I applied 6 rhinestones to each nail bed.
Finally I applied one final coat of the base coat to the whole nail, once it was all dry to stop any colour bleeding! And here is my final result!

Outfit Of The Day with Topshop and CleanCut, November

So... I did end up leaving the house today! So here is my first outfit of the day!
CleanCut t-shirt, Topshop Trousers, Topshop Brogues
I'v got my Topshop lace up black leather brogues they are about 2 years old and have worn really well! My trousers are brand new (also Topshop, iv got sooooo much Topshop stuff!!!) with an checked pattern. They are high waisted trousers with a zip up the side they cost £28 and are like a second skin the black part of the pattern is flocked/velvet so they have a really nice texture and are supper soft! My t-shirt is by CleanCut a new up and coming clothing brand based online. The T-shirt cost me £15 + p&p and is in a large. I really like this brand and the t-shirts are really high quality! I will post the website link for the t-shirts at the bottom and the trousers are currently available in most Topshop stores as well as online. I think the trousers would also look nice with a bright block colour if white is not for you!

November Favourites and Empty Bottles Review

As I didn't end up leaving the house today due to bad weather and having the day off work I decided not to do an Outfit Of The Day and save that for another day, instead I have decided to show you my November Favourite products and give them a review along with my empty bottles as they are products I WILL be purchasing again! If anyone has any thoughts on any of these products of questions please leave a comment! So here goes starting form the left moving towards the right (in the picture)

You will be able to find most of these products in your local Boots or Superdrug

1. Batiste Dry Shampoo- with a hint of colour, dark and deep brown.

Colour on skin
I decided to first buy this product when I went to Bestival a couple of years ago and since then I have found it to be quite useful in day to day life. My hair type is long with greasy roots and dry ends.

So I really love this product, it saves me from having to wash my hair every other day, I like to leave it 2 days between washing if I can help it rather than ever other day as my ends can get really dry and when you have long hair the dryer it is the harder it is to look after! This product saves my ends from being dried out! It keeps my hair looking fresh and it is scented so it smells amazing! because I have dark brown hair it looks greasy so fast and this stops that! it also adds volume and texture and can make your hair easier to style while also adding lift!
The only down side to this product is that it runs out quite fast even though I got a bigger can. If you spray it on you face (by your hair line) by mistake then it leaves a brown mark on your skin, it wipes off easily but is still a nuisance. I think this will only apply to the coloured sprays. When I itch my scalp then the product gathers up under my nails making them look dirty. But these are only 2 small problems and I think I would continue to buy the brown one as I would rather have dirty nails and wipe colour off my head than have powdery white hair!
I got this can from Boots on offer but it usually costs around £2.99

2. No7 Beautiful Skin Eye Make-Up Remover

I have been using this particular eye make-up remover now for at least 3 years. I have tried and tested may different eye make-up removers and for me this is the best product I have found... by far! It is gentle and suitable for all skin types it is one of the double layer products you shake together before using, I put it on a cotton pad, press on my eye for a couple of seconds to soften the make-up and gently wipe my eye following the faces massage lines to avoid tugging the skin and creating premature wrinkles to wipe away any traces of make up. The bottle always lasts me a couple of months even though it is small as you only need a small amount because it is so good. I always pick it up with one of the No7 vouchers to save £5! It is normally priced at £8.50.

I find this product so good that if I have any stubborn make-up that I can not remove I use this product. It removes all traces of waterproof mascara! I would rate this product 9/10!!! Probably in my top 5 all time beauty products!

3. Boots Mango Body Butter

If you cant tell by now I do really like Boots products! This was a present I got for my birthday and I use it when my skin is feeling dry or times when I may need extra moisture e.g after shaving!

It smells AMAZING! I also have the body wash and scrub (also birthday presents) I like this product because it is organic and fairtrade. Its very think and creamy it is made with Shea butter and mango extract. with this cold weather coming in everyone needs a good staple moisturiser and I think is one makes a nice pick me up or great present! and as I already mentioned smells great!

4. Cutex Nourishing Nail Polish Remover

This Nail varnish remover again is one of the best I have found and is one of my empty bottles. I need to get a new one! It has lasted me a long time and is not one of those removers that gets weaker the closer it gets to the bottom of the bottle! This Remover contains Vitamins and moisturisers and a nail whitening formula. It is for weak nails, which I have from time to time where they flake at the tips, I would recommend this product even if your nails are not weak as it is good at removing all polishes and whitening stained nails from other varnishes. It even removes glitter nail varnish quite easily. I never thought I would say this about a nail varnish remover but it smells really nice as well!

The down sides to this remover are that it contains Acetone, I'm not bothered by this but I know some people are. The other down side is that it stays on your fingers, not to the point that it effects your new nail varnishes you would apply but if you lick your finger or when your eating then it tastes horrible for several hours after even when you use soap! I think the good out weighs the bad and I would rate this remover 9/10 as a product.

5. Garnier Eye Roll-On

I bought this product in Sainsburys it was on an offer at the time and I picked it up as it was something I wanted to try, it contains caffeine and is to be rolled on the skin under the eye, I gently pat the product in with my ring finger once it has settled on the skin for a couple of moments. I like to use this first thing in the morning when I wake up. With the long dark mornings and getting up so early for work I feel my eyes need a little bit more TLC than they have in previous years, I think this is a good product for teens up to just before you start developing deeper wrinkles, If you have deeper wrinkles I don't think that this product will work well for you but if you have small wrinkles or dark bags under your eyes and use this every morning it will help to tighten, brighten and lift the skin, but only a small amount. I am unsure if this is a product that has a feel good factor rather than making a physical difference but either way when I apply it at 6 in the morning it wakes me up (because it's so cold) and I feel better for using it!

Please comment or leave any questions, feedback or suggestions on products for me to review!

Topshop Hidden Treasure Nail Varnish

This is pretty much just a review on my Hidden Treasure Topshop nail varnish, it was £6 and I bought it in store, its an amazing winter/christmas colour. It's very pigmented but is much better after 2 coats.
If the picture is not very clear then its a greeny, goldish slightly khaki colour! It's very festive and has some subtle warm tones. I would say it is good value for money and I recieve complements ever time I wear it! If your looking for a colour to cheer you up then this would be a great one to pick! It looks elegant on long nails and grungy on short ones so it makes a good all rounder for any occasion!
The quality is pretty good and i've worn it for at least 2 days without any chips (i always chip/smudge my varnish the day I do it, anyone ever get bed marks?!?!) Due to the nature of this varnish, its slightly shimmery, if you get some small chips they won't show much. That's always a good quality about a shimmery/glittery nail varnish. It also drys pretty fast!
I hope you like my review. This is currently on of my top 3 varnishes.

Here is a swatch on my toe nails and the varnish itself... Which has a pretty cute bottle!

Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Treatment

When I went to Morocco in January I bought some cosmetic Argan oil... Once I bought it back to England I didn't really use it... It was one if those things I put at the back of my cupboard and forgot about.... Until today... After this cold weather and constant abuse my hair gets from heat and colour it has become very brital and in general bad condition, I always end up with greasy roots and dry frizzy ends! I decided to put the Argan oil in my already quite greasy hair and leave it on all day as it was my day off! The results are amazing! My hair was sooooo soft from the second I dryed it I could see the results... I suffer from greasy hair so I only put it on the ends, ill keep you updated on wether its a keeper on not hopefully will post a pic in the morning, for now enjoy the Moroccan view

Galactic Christmas Nail Design

Glatic Christmas Nail Design I saw a design similar to this on YouTube today and thought ild try it out with a rimmel lycra nail varnish in 393 Desire and Barry M chunky glitter nail varnish along with Sally Hanson hard as nails as base and top coat, I used one coat of the colour and one coat of glitter, I am happy with the final result and think its really Christmasy and pretty, I will let you no how long its lasts!
